We purchased this item searching high & low for a storage box that wasn't plastic or wood and wouldn't look out-of-place with our contemporary outdoor furniture. What a complete waste of money. There were no written instructions, only a diagram that was of little use. It's nearly impossible to assemble - we let every guest give it a try before finally hammering & bending the metal parts into place. After less than one summer, the design on the top is chipping off. Making matters worse, it's held together completely by hooks and tension, so it doesn't stay assembled. We now have a $300 monstrosity that we're afraid to move lest it all collapse again. Save your money.
